Okaya Energy and E-Mobility Group (OEEG), formerly known as Okaya Power Group, has entered into a strategic partnership with Vriddhi-Shashila Electric to bring electric two-wheeled vehicles, charging grids and battery swapping stations across Nepal.
According to a press release, the agreement will bring in scooters for environmentally friendly transportation solutions that are essentially the needs of Nepali consumers and suitable for Nepali roads and soil.
Modified from four decades of expertise and presence in more than 50 countries, OEEG's latest product, Okaya EV, is confident that it will be a brand new, powerful and versatile product in Nepal.
These scooters have a higher capacity battery than any other e-scooter fitted at 4.4 kWh, which is said to provide a journey of 140 to 160 kmph and a top speed of 70 kmph on a single charge. Other information will be released by the company shortly.
Growth has a successful business history of over fifty years. The group's primary businesses include automotive, heavy equipment, trade, manufacturing as well as financial institutions and banking.
Shashila Motors, a leading dealership in the commercial vehicle sector, is a milestone center that has sold more than 6,000 vehicles within seven years of operation.
Kia Motors' dealerships and various global heavy equipment brands are its other partners who have won much acclaim for their customer-centric approach.
